Beau Beckett is a native of South Florida and has been involved in Fort Lauderdale Real Estate for years. Prior to starting Beckett Realty Advisors he was the Director of Acquisitions and Development for a developer of Senior Living Facilities. He has extensive experience in real estate brokerage as well as project management and comprehensive financial analysis. He started his career doing corporate finance and new product development at Wells Real Estate Funds, a privately held office REIT out of Atlanta, GA. He later moved back to Fort Lauderdale to manage a portfolio of office and mixed-use properties for a local developer. Mr. Beckett has also worked as a real estate finance and workout consultant for lenders and developers locally and internationally.
Mr. Beckett received a B.A. in Economics from Vanderbilt University and an MBA in Real Estate Development from Nova Southeastern University. He is a LEED Accredited Professional as designated by the U.S. Green Building Council and an active member of the Urban Land Institute.
